Story

The name

Cuatro Muros is Spanish for four walls.

A padel court is twenty metres by ten. Glass at both ends, mesh down the sides. It is the only racket sport played inside something rather than on top of it.

We named the brand after the walls because the walls are the whole point.

Why the walls

The walls are in play.

In tennis, the wall would be the end of the point. In padel it is the middle of it. The ball comes off the glass and the rally carries on, which is why a point can last thirty seconds and why nobody who tries it once stops at once.

Four walls, four players, and the ball keeps coming back. That is the game, and that is the name.

The lexicon

Named in the language of the game.

Padel was invented in Mexico and grew up in Spain, so we named everything in its language. Every piece we make takes its name from a part of the court.

How it is made

Made after you order it.

Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be wanted. Every piece is printed or embroidered in Lancashire once you have ordered it, then sent straight to you. It takes a few days longer than pulling something off a shelf.

We would rather make the thing you asked for than guess at a thousand of them and bin what is left.
